I dunno where you've been playing, but ive found loads of parties asking for members in and around GWEN locations!
Have you actually got further into the game?
Besides most of the GWEN content is henchable, so its not like your crippled!

Longeye's Ledge. I've spent days in there and never seen one party. There's only an occaisonal person in that town.

The hench will stand under firestorm and die. I don't deserve that.

Ughh.... are you talking about the firestorm from the char?
My hench dont seem to have any issues dieing when I go up against the char and their firecharmers (or what ever they call them). Ever considered using 3 monks?

I bet he is trying to move backwards, away from the enemy, which unless you do a 180 first doesn't seem to work well to influence the henches. I kinda noticed that if you run directly left or right, or even straight up into the face of the enemy casters, the hench will move closer to you and get out of the firestorm/meteor shower/eruption/whatever. For some reason if you just try to move backwards without doing a 180, instead of moving, the hench will usually just stand there and keep attacking, it's like they think you're the only one who needs to retreat and they'll keep standing there fighting stuff because they're special. Any other direction you move, or moving away while having your back to the enemy, makes the henches move out of AOE better.
To the OP: Zho and the vanguard assassin summon really help with stopping damage from the charr eles (daze from Zho) and then killing the charr a couple seconds later (death by summoned assassin). If you don't have the vanguard assassin summon skill, you can get it at the Eye doing the "Practice, Dummy" quest which is pretty easy. I have too have noticed that there aren't many people grouping from Longeye's, so if you bring Zho and the assassin summon, it should help make the vanguard quests a little easier to do when you can't find a group.
If it's any consolation, groups are much more plentiful for Dwarf and Norn quests, and for Asura too, but Asura quest groups don't seem to be that much more frequent than Vanguard quest groups. One vanguard activity you can always find groups for is vanguard point farming, if that helps.

Members of my guild used to get together frequently to do AB or various missions in the expansions.
With GWEN most are now pursuing their own interests with AI, most likely chasing after the titles. Very little AB'ing going on.
However most recently we partied 8 guild and alliance members to do HoS chest runs. Pretty fun.
In general, GWEN definitely does not promote partying.

so far every pug I've joined in eotn is quiet. I want a chatty pug to spice things up, to crack lame jokes throughout the quest and all.

Hm, in European English 1 it's always crowded. But of course, not everyone will come with you because they might be preferring hero/hench or just busy with wtb/wts-ing

I think you dont only have Party Problem but also Build Problem.
Well you said you can't even finnish the first stage of Bison.
Next you seem to die easy with just Firestorms.
Do you have any hero?, Got any good build as in real good not just some crippling firestrm warrior or a ranger with some SoF?
You sure theur are no one even in Amercan or Euro?
I use 2 Channel and Restore(Hybrid) Gwen and Xandra and Warder Vekk.
And I bring Herta, Cynn, Mhenlo and Lina.
Sometimes I would bring some 2 WoRs, Zenmai, Silverwing, Devona, Mhenlo and Lina.
So we have 4 Frontliners and 4 Support, WoR is good when enemies hit us.
Oh, also including me I am a Sin.
But the first build is better^^.

I use www.pvxwiki.com to start any new hero build. If you copy builds like this, keep in mind that you do need to watch what they do in battle. Sometimes the build may look great but the heroes AI will just use 3 skills until energy is exhausted and stop fighting.

Call me a noob, but i find eye of the north a pain. And cant get myself to play tru it, its not that i cant finish the missions or quest.Just that every little thing takes ages to finish. And like the OP said nobody is intrested to help or PUG, well not wenn im around anyways.
Ive had it since day 1, but i barely play it(got to gunars hold). Then i found myself making a char in profecies(for the first time) and i find it more fun to get to grips with a new profesion/skills and people are/seem far more sociable in prohecies(specially the beginers area s)
Must be me......
